RevolutionParts Ramps up Hiring to Meet Accelerating Growth

-PHOENIX, AZ  April 4, 2021 – RevolutionParts, the largest provider of automotive parts ecommerce solutions, announced today that it is expanding its staffing by 40% in 2021 to meet surging demand in the automotive parts space.

During 2020, the organization witnessed rapid growth in parts ecommerce, with transactions increasing from $328 million to $420 million.

To account for this growth, the organization hired 40 people in 2020. However, the demand is still increasing from a growing number of consumers purchasing parts online and automotive manufacturers realizing a need to improve their part and accessory buying experience.

This month, for example, the organization launched a partnership with a major auto manufacturer to power their national store and a series of programs designed to help their dealers improve their parts department performance.

It is expected this partnership will grow the number of dealers the parts commerce provider services by more than 50%. Plus, the organization is looking at other automakers with hopes of launching similar programs.

“We have significant growth plans over the next three years,” said RevolutionParts Founder and CEO Ibrahim Mesbah.

Mesbah and Andreas Ronneseth, two Arizona State University graduates, founded the company in 2014. Since then the organization has witnessed significant year-over-year growth.

To help guide this growth, the company closed on seed round funding in March of 2020 and has heavily invested in senior leadership over the past year. Those hirings include Chief Technology Officer Jared Canova, Senior Vice President of Product Scott Derringer, Chief of Staff Jackie Kostas, and Chief Financial Officer Gopal Mehta.

As the company continues to grow this year, it will look to continue to add a mix of both senior leadership and sole contributor roles across every division of the organization.

“We are hiring in sales, customer success, marketing, engineering, and just about every other key area you could think of,” said RevolutionParts’ Chief of Staff Jackie Kostas.

In addition to highly competitive wages, RevolutionParts provides employees with career development opportunities, benefits, 401K match, parental leave, and many more valuable perks.
